The CJM Alloy Camshaft Sprocket Kit is engineered as a high-performance replacement for the factory plastic Bakelite sprockets found on Subaru single-AVCS engines. A known failure point of the OEM sprockets is the center hub breaking away from the main body, which can lead to severe timing loss and potentially catastrophic engine failure.

Each CJM sprocket is CNC machined from a single block of premium aluminum, offering far greater durability than Subaru’s OEM plastic units, which are known to degrade and become brittle over time.
