The CJM Alloy Camshaft Sprocket is engineered as a high-performance replacement for the factory plastic Bakelite sprockets found on Subaru single-AVCS engines. A known failure point of the OEM sprockets is the center hub breaking away from the main body, which can lead to severe timing loss and potentially catastrophic engine failure.
