We’ve partnered with Daido Metal, a Japanese manufacturer and one of the world’s foremost bearing producers—supplying Formula 1, WRC, Super GT, NASCAR, and OEM engine programs worldwide—to bring their advanced metallurgy and precision manufacturing to high-performance Subaru engines. Their expertise in tri-metal and polymer-overlay bearing technology ensures exceptional durability, stability, and consistency under extreme load.

We developed these engine bearings with Daido by utilizing advanced FEA, thermal analysis, and lubrication simulations to ensure the bearings achieve the highest possible performance. These simulations include detailed modeling of engine block main saddle geometry, allowing us to optimize bearing shape and profile for improved oil control. This helps reduce oil consumption, which in turn increases oil pressure, resulting in greater reliability and endurance in demanding high-performance environments.

These bearings were validated through extensive on-track testing, along with Spintron and engine dyno testing, ensuring that the final design performs reliably under real-world race conditions as well as controlled high-load laboratory conditions.
