CJM Components Street Mod Camshaft

These cams were designed and developed specifically for street-driven Subarus making up to 550 HP. Upgrading to performance camshafts allows the engine to breathe more efficiently by optimizing valve timing and lift, which improves airflow, increases top-end power, and supports higher horsepower levels that the factory cams cannot sustain. Despite the performance gains, the CJM Street Mod profile maintains smooth street manners and reliable drivability.

Upgraded valve springs are recommended for use with the CJM Street Mod, but they are not required.

Break-In: A proper camshaft break-in procedure using high-zinc oil is mandatory to ensure long-term durability and optimal performance.

Professional Installation: Installation should be performed by an experienced technician familiar with the Subaru timing system and AVCS
